It’s very interesting to watch the journey of speech…  Something we so easily take for granted.  However, it’s something that Aidan is still very much working on.  But amazingly, his vocabulary grows every day.  And now, he’s like a little parrot, repeating what we say.  (Gotta make sure we don’t say the wrong things!)

Just recently, he uttered what could be considered his first sentence; “A balloon popped.”  Now, I know it’s not exactly a dissertation, and his words are still (sometimes) the ones that you need the gift of interpretation to understand, but it’s amazing how much his mind will “sponge” up and then repeat back to you at the proper time!
