Pacing the halls
Apr 17I’m really not good at waiting patiently. I know this, but it gets painfully obvious while sitting around in the hospital waiting for a doctor, a contraction, or an answer. More often than not, I find myself wanting to pace around or just do something — but I can’t do anything. We did get several opportunities to wander the halls today. I sure wish I had a pedometer. ...
Let’s chalk this one up to experience
Apr 14So we heard from our agent a few hours ago and we didn’t get this house. Are we disappointed? Maybe a little. But while we aren’t any further ahead than we were Saturday morning, we’re also no further behind. We’ll just have to keep looking and keep trusting God that we’ll find the proper house for us. It’s back to the house hunt!
Putting in an offer
Apr 14After a few months of looking at houses, we finally found one to put in an offer on today. Here’s the listing. Unfortunately, there were a good dozen people going through the house today and at least two other offers. The offers are all being presented tonight at 7pm, so by about 8:00 pm tonight we’ll either know if we have a house, or be in the same position as we were earlier...
